This one is personal. We got the call from a good friend who had a vision for a dream bathroom - and we were not about to let that vision get off to a shaky start. The walls are stripped back, the framing is exposed, and right now is exactly the right time to get the plumbing done correctly. That is the whole point of getting us in early.

Here is something a lot of homeowners do not realize: the plumbing decisions you make during a gut remodel are permanent. Once those walls close back up, whatever is behind them is what you are living with for the next 20 or 30 years. That is why we do not rush this stage. We plan the supply lines, drain locations, and fixture rough-ins based on where everything is going - not just where it used to be.

With the space completely opened up like this, we had a clear look at the existing pipe runs and were able to re-route and re-pipe the supply lines to match the new layout. New fixture placements mean new rough-in points, and we set those up precisely so the finish plumber work later is clean and straightforward. No surprises behind the drywall.
